WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Investments & Asset Management Team. You will be part of an entrepreneurial team that touches all aspects of our residential commercial real estate business. Our team is responsible for supporting Residential Operations, Asset Management, Investor Relations, and Investments. A successful candidate must be intellectually curious, detailed, service-oriented, and proactive. You must have strong communication skills to successfully collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders and to effectively present data in a clear and comprehensive manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Key contributor in the annual budgeting process developing assumptions, annual budgets, and executive presentation material.
· Participate in the preparation and presentation of portions of a five-year forecast of a 25,000-unit residential portfolio.
· Work with operations to track property level performance and help execute strategic initiatives.
· Contribute to the analysis and presentation of short- and long-term portfolio growth strategies to leadership for approval.
· Manage and distribute reports and/or dashboards on performance indicators, findings, and assessments.
· Work with leadership creating and analyzing property valuations related to real estate tax assessments and appeals.
· Assist with specific investor relations functions including investor valuations, buyouts and presentations.
· Work with internal and external groups to conduct market analysis identifying strengths and weaknesses of target submarkets.
· Assist in underwriting and due diligence of new acquisition, development, and value-add repositioning opportunities.
· Underwrite loans and prepare presentation material related to internal financing opportunities for residential and commercial properties.
· Analyze portfolio refinance forecast and work with leadership to develop strategies to mitigate risks and identify opportunities.
· Create and/or compile ad hoc reports as requested using Excel, Yardi and other data management programs.
· Contribute to team/company engagement efforts.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
· Passion for commercial real estate
· Financial modeling experience
· Advanced MS Excel experience a plus
· Ability to effectively communicate ideas and solutions to key stakeholders in the organization
· Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external groups
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
 
 RECRUITMENT:
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or a related field
· 0-4 Years of relevant experience
· Yardi system (or similar property management software) experience preferred
