We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst or Associate to join our acquisitions and development team. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full investment lifecycle, including sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, development oversight, asset management, and eventual disposition. You will work directly with senior leadership on live deals and business plan execution across multiple markets.
- Perform complex real estate financial analysis using Microsoft Excel, including IRR, NPV, JV waterfalls, sources and uses, and sensitivity analyses.
- Prepare investment committee materials and investor presentations.
- Conduct market research, demographic analysis, and competitive property surveys.
- Support due diligence and help coordinate all aspects of acquisition and development closings.
- Coordinate with lenders, brokers, consultants, and municipal officials throughout the transaction and development execution.
- Prepare and maintain financial models, project budgets, development schedules, and other transaction documents.
- Track construction budgets, schedules, and leasing progress across active projects.
- Assist with capital markets initiatives, including debt placement and investor reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in real estate private equity, housing-focused development, or investment banking.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong financial modeling skills and working knowledge of cash-on-cash returns, IRR/NPV concepts, discounted cash flow analysis, promote waterfalls, and development economics.
- Detail-oriented and thoughtful, with the ability to independently develop insights and clearly communicate recommendations.
- Committed to producing high-quality, accurate work product under tight timelines.
- Highly organized, entrepreneurial, and capable of managing multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
