Position Description
FD Stonewater is seeking a proactive and self-motivated Analyst. The candidate will work directly with Partners and key team members to support the investment and asset management platform. It is essential that this individual be hard-working, detail-oriented, passionate about their work, willing and eager to learn, and able to multi-task. The position will be in Arlington, VA (Washington, DC). Remote candidates will notbe considered.
Responsibilities
The Analyst will operate in a team environment, supporting our acquisitions and asset management functions. Sample responsibilities will include:
· Asset Management. Provide assistance in the business plan execution and management of portfolio assets; including leasing, asset repositioning, property operations, project management, budgeting, and financial review, distribution calculation, and reporting.
· Investments. Assist in managing pipeline information for pursuits. Support team in transaction execution including creating deal materials, performing due diligence, coordinating third parties, and preparation/review of closing statements.
· Financial Analysis. Perform various financial analyses in MS Excel and Argus for prospective investment opportunities and assets currently within the firm’s portfolio, including the creation of complex and dynamic proforma models and sensitivity analyses for project cash flows and investment returns.
· Investor Reporting: Prepare periodic investor materials and reports, manage contact system and respond to investor inquiries.
· Implementation of Technology. Implement technology infrastructure across the investment/asset management platforms to improve productivity, efficiency and transparency inclusive of AI products.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree with strong credentials plus 1-3 years of minimum relevant work experience. Candidates with advanced degrees also considered.
· The ideal candidate will possess an aptitude for complex financial models. Proven proficiency in MS Excel is required. ARGUS proficiency is preferred.
· Meticulous attention to detail, organized, and efficient.
· Ability to coordinate multiple projects effectively and on deadline.
· Strong personal initiative and desire to succeed in a demanding, entrepreneurial environment.
