Business Development Manager- KG Commercial

KG Commercial ("KGC"), the commercial real estate division of The Koolik Group at Compass, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to help scale our boutique commercial real estate team. This role is designed for an entrepreneurial-minded professional who can recruit top-tier commercial agents, drive transaction volume and elevate KGC's presence across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with our leadership team to help grow our business. Compensation structure includes a base salary + bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruiting:
  • Actively recruit local, experienced commercial real estate agents 
  • Know how to use recruitment tools effectively (ex: Linked-In). 
  • Identify possible teams to join KGC

Business Development
  • Identify and build relationships with landlords, developers and prospects
  • Make weekly lead generating calls 
  • Use proprietary and industry systems (ex Co-Star, Reonomy) and other resources to find and validate property owners and identify new leads
  • Enhance KGC’s brand visibility throughout Miami, Broward and Palm Beach Counties
  • Be able to grow deal volume to ~$100M annually and beyond
  • Be able to track and quantify leads, number of groups being reached, etc.
  • Ability to pivot strategies if necessary

Marketing
  • Liaise with the KGC leadership to refine outreach strategies and networking opportunities.
  • Regularly attend Compass sales meetings throughout Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade to generate leads / pitch value propositions to residential partners outside of TKG. 
  • Attend industry networking events 

Qualifications:
  • Must be able to articulate the KGC and Compass value proposition
  • Minimum 5 years in sales, marketing or business development, knowledge of commercial real estate a plus.
  • Proven track record of growing sales volume and implementing long-term strategies for success
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate the KGC and Compass value proposition
  • Must be a self-starter, ability to think “outside the box” and a team player


Compensation:
  • Base salary based on experience, track record and book of business
  • Bonus commensurate with agent recruitment and deal volume growth.
