Job Description
Company Overview:
Since its founding in 2009, Shorewood Real Estate Group has deployed $1.2 billion in debt and equity across the New York City metro area and developed 1.5 million square feet of new construction and adaptive reuse. Shorewood currently has a development pipeline of over 1,000 residential units and 300,000 square feet of commercial retail space.
Position Description:
Working closely with the acquisitions and asset management teams, the analyst will provide analytical support for business development and operations.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare and maintain financial models
· Conduct in depth market research
· Underwrite new investment opportunities
· Assist with due diligence for acquisitions and financings
· Prepare investor presentations
· Perform property site visits
· Assist in monitoring and reviewing asset budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial targets
· Support asset management and acquisitions departments as needed

· Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and project management
Required Qualifications:
· 1-3 years of experience in analytically rigorous real estate or finance environment
· Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, or related field is required; master’s degree preferred
· Ability to work autonomously, be proactive, and multi-task
· Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical and innovative solutions
· Passion for analysis and a high level of interest in the New York City real estate market
· Proficient in quantitative and qualitative research
· Experience building and operating complex real estate financial models
· Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong attention to detail as well as the ability to work under deadlines
