Job Description
- Support the development and maintenance of financial models for prospective and active real estate investments.
- Evaluate deal structures, capital stacks, and return metrics (IRR, equity multiples, etc.).
- Assist with preparing financing packages for lenders, investors, and joint venture partners.
- Conduct market research to inform rent, expense, and absorption assumptions.
- Analyze rental trends and gather data through broker outreach and industry resources.
- Contribute to evaluating investment strategies, including cash flow projections, returns, and disposition scenarios.
- Participate in financial and physical due diligence for investment opportunities.
- Assist in the review and coordination of legal documents.
- Assist in the review of operating budgets and financial reporting for the investments.
- Assist in the review and compilation of quarterly financial reporting for the investment.
- Support the development and maintenance of financial models for business plans related to ongoing investments.
- Coordinate with sponsors related to monthly payments and financial reporting requirements in accordance with the investment documents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
- 1- 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in real estate finance, investments, or development with some experience in multifamily.
- Prior experience in a Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst role within a real estate firm is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including modeling and analytical functions; strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
