Job Description
- Monitor and maintain the physical integrity, safety, and market reputation of communities.
- Analyze and manage property-level financials, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budgets.
- Track and manage key metrics, including stabilization, DSCR, and leasing activity.
- Conduct frequent physical inspections to understand community challenges and identify improvements.
- Forge strong relationships with operating partners and vendors.
- Develop and execute corrective action plans with property and asset management teams for underperforming assets.
- Oversee implementation of capital improvement projects and major repairs.
- Ensure compliance with obligations under partnership, loan, and regulatory agreements.
- Coordinate communications and manage requests from investors, lenders, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Construction Services and Acquisitions teams with project coordination.
- Mentor and develop team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
- 5 – 10 years of experience in affordable housing asset management.
- Strong analytical, financial analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and deadline-driven with a strong sense of urgency.
- Able to travel frequently, up to 50%.
