Job Overview:
The Company is seeking a highly motivated, real estate professional, with one to five years of experience in commercial real estate with a heavy analytical background. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Excel with experience in Argus. The position will report to an Asset Manager and will be based in Lamar’s suburban New Jersey office with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement (in office at least three days a week). The Asset Management Analyst will provide analytical support across the company’s portfolio and has a unique opportunity for career growth within a highly successful entrepreneurial company. The position offers the opportunity to work directly with the highest level of Company management. Compensation will be competitive, including salary, benefits, and an opportunity for bonus.
Responsibilities:
· Lead all Asset Management analysis including scenario running, sale analysis, refinance loan testing, property valuations and property reforecasts
· Monitor and analyze property performance across a multi-state portfolio
· Evaluate leasing, capital expenditure, and operational strategies to maximize asset value
· Assist with budgeting and business plan development for each property
· Coordinate with property managers and leasing agents to oversee property-level performance
· Perform market research and benchmarking for strategic planning
· Work closely with acquisitions, accounting, and investor relations teams, as needed
Qualifications:
· 1–5 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate, asset management, acquisitions, valuations, or financial analysis
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate, economics, or a related field
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with Argus Enterprise required
· Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
· Motivated, self-starter able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Strong networking skills and contacts
· Ability to work within a small team environment
