- Lead, manage, and hold accountable support team members.
- Prepare and maintain detailed cash flow forecasts for each asset and the overall portfolio. Use forecasts to manage liquidity, anticipate funding needs, and prepare investor distribution calculations. Coordinate and oversee quarterly distribution processes in alignment with investor agreements.
- Provide analysis, documentation, and execution of various capital transactions to support investment management of the portfolio. This includes supporting acquisitions and dispositions, as well as leading the execution of debt transactions (new originations and refinance).
- Perform asset-level and portfolio-wide sell-hold analyses on a recurring basis to evaluate optimal timing for disposition, refinancing, or recapitalization. Incorporate current market data, valuation trends, leasing momentum, and capital needs to support strategic decision-making. Present recommendations to the investment committee and executive leadership.
- Analyze property-level and portfolio-level financials, rent rolls, and operational KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Collaborate with asset and property management to maximize asset value and ensure execution of the business plan.
- Own the internal valuation process, including quarterly updates to asset valuations based on financial performance, market conditions, and comparable transactions. Provide valuation support for investor reporting, NAV updates, and strategic decision-making.
- Manage the firm's investor relations functions, including ownership of the investment management software (AppFolio Investment Management). Ensure data integrity, timely updates to investment information, quarterly investor reporting.
- Track and forecast capital expenditures, distributions, loan covenant compliance, and project level funding requirements.

- Bring 5+ years of real estate experience, with at least 3 years in portfolio management or capital markets roles overseeing multifamily or mixed-use portfolios
- Have a finance-first mindset, with a deep understanding of how capital structure, market cycles, and deal terms impact investment performance
- Possess strong capital markets experience, including involvement in acquisitions, dispositions, refinancings, and joint venture structures
- Are highly fluent in real estate underwriting and valuation, with advanced Excel skills and a solid grasp of financial modeling and investment analysis
- Have a proven ability to manage complex portfolios, drive NOI growth, and inform strategic decisions with data and market insight
- Are comfortable working across teams—including property management, construction, and finance—and thrive in an environment that values both autonomy and collaboration
- Are proficient with tools like Excel, Yardi, CoStar, with familiarity with FP&A software for budgeting and forecasting
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or certification (e.g., CFA, CAIA, CPM) is a plus, but not required
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- Availability to work longer hours and weekends during department and company peak seasons
- Must be able to complete the physical functions of the position, not limited to the ability to sit for long periods of time at a computer and extensive keyboarding
