Job Overview & Responsibilities
§ Take an active role with the executive team in identifying and sourcing CRE opportunities locally and in emerging asset classes and markets.
§ Lead underwriting, market analysis, cash flow modeling, and capital structure evaluation for new investment opportunities across industrial, flex, office, self-storage, and multi-family, among other asset classes.
§ Manage entire acquisition process from initial sourcing through due diligence, deal structuring, and closing, including lease review and abstracting, operating expense analysis, and coordination of diligence materials.
§ Collaborate closely with the Asset & Property Management Teams to ensure smooth transitions and alignment with long-term portfolio strategy.
§ Maintain and enhance acquisition models and analytical tools to support data-driven investment decisions.
§ Translate complex or creative capital structures into clear, dynamic financial models for review by the Executive Team and investment partners.
§ Ability to understand evolving technologies (AI, ARGUS, Excel, among other platforms and technologies) to improve current workflow, efficiency, and productivity across the acquisition spectrum
§ Prepare investment memoranda, financing packages, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
§ Gather and track market sales data; maintain a database of sale comparables,.
§ Participate in internal meetings related to operations, development, and leasing to stay aligned with asset-level strategies.
§ Support the Executive Team on transaction-related initiatives, including dispositions, major lease analyses, and recapitalizations.
§ Collaborate with the executive team on portfolio valuation efforts, financing analyses, and other ad hoc strategic projects.
§ Be active and engaged in the broader CRE market by following local news and participating in CRE organizations like NAIOP, REFA, SIOR etc.
§ Foster relationships with key brokers, investors, stakeholders, owners, and lenders to support and contribute to RJK’s success and growth.
Qualifications & Experience
Technical Qualifications
§ 8-15 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate, with a focus on acquisitions, asset management, or investment analysis.
§ Proven experience in identifying trends and opportunities in CRE and executing on investments.
§ Previous experience with a CRE owner/operator or institutional private equity real estate firm strongly preferred.
§ Experience with industrial, flex, office, and self-storage strongly preferred. Multi-family experience is a plus.
§ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Argus is required.
§ Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or a related discipline.
§ Solid understanding of financial modeling, valuation, and core accounting principles.

This is a full-time, on-site leadership role with the flexibility to work remotely upon demonstrating a high level of accountability and performance.
