As Transaction Manager, you’ll take a central role in driving the leasing activity that underpins our growth. This position manages the full retail transaction process—partnering with third-party brokers and coordinating across internal teams—to maximize value, occupancy, and financial results.  Your focus will span both stabilized assets and value-add redevelopment projects, with leasing as the core responsibility and direct involvement in retail acquisitions alongside the President. Key Responsibilities
Retail Transaction Management & Deal Execution
  • Oversee the end-to-end transaction process for retail property lease transactions and coordinate specific leasing activities for retail assets
  • Work with Lease Administrator to manage lease renewals for existing tenants
  • Assist the President in sourcing, evaluating, and executing new retail property acquisitions, performing market analysis and supporting due diligence as needed
  • Track and manage transaction timelines, lease documentation, and all associated approvals to ensure accuracy throughout every retail transaction
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all third-party retail brokers and external service providers, guiding marketing strategy, deal flow, and negotiations
  • Foster collaboration across internal teams—including legal, property management, construction, lease administration, and executive leadership—to deliver retail project goals and financial targets
  • Maintain proactive communications and initiate issue resolution to keep all retail transactions
  • Help craft and leverage AI tools to achieve leasing and transaction management objectives
  • Assist in preparing business plans and strategies for current and prospective retail properties, integrating research, scenario modeling, and financial forecasting
  • Prepare and deliver reports on transaction pipeline, retail leasing activity, broker performance, and key performance indicators for executive review
  • Review and negotiate LOIs and lease documents related specifically to retail transactions, in coordination with brokers and legal counsel
  • Ensure that all lease agreements and transaction activities reflect company objectives, compliance standards, and risk management best practices
  • Collaborate with property management and construction teams to ensure timely delivery and occupancy for retail tenant spaces, and creatively problem-solve to optimize space utilization and asset value
 
Required Qualifications & Competencies
 
  • 3–5 years of experience in retail leasing, real estate analysis, or asset management.
  • Strong experience with LOI, lease negotiation, and retail property financial analysis
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational abilities, able to manage multiple retail projects concurrently
  • Strategic, entrepreneurial, tech savvy, team-oriented, and committed to professional growth and impact
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or relevant discipline preferred
