Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct underwriting for new investment opportunities, including both income-generating assets and development projects.
• Build and maintain financial models, including discounted cash flows, joint venture structures, and sensitivityanalyses.
• Assist with due diligence and closing activities, collaborating with brokers, property managers, and lenders.
• Create and update financial reporting packages for MRP’s capital partners.
• Conduct market research and analyze macroeconomic and local trends to shape investment strategies.
• Develop business plans and prepare investment memos for internal presentations and investment committees.
• Utilize Argus to input market and property assumptions for cash flow projections.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field.
• Two years of relevant experience in real estate, finance, or capital markets.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Argus Enterprise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset and a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
