Opportunity and Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Recruiting Manager to join our dynamic People team. This individual will lead recruitment initiatives at all levels and partner with HR leadership and department heads to attract and retain top talent. This role involves sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process to ensure we attract diverse talent aligned with our company's initiatives and culture. The ideal candidate for this role thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings a strategic mindset to talent acquisition and is passionate about providing a best-in-class candidate experience. This role will make a direct impact on Stockbridge’s growth and talent strategy and will report to the Head of People.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals to source potential candidates.
  • Manage the recruiting process in the Applicant Tracking System including training hiring managers.
  • Review resumes and applications, conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and ensure alignment throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with candidates, providing a positive experience from application through onboarding.
  • Extend job offers, help negotiate terms and manage the offer acceptance process.
  • Conduct reference and background checks for new hires.
  • Assist in the onboarding process to ensure new hires are integrated successfully into the organization.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment laws and regulations; provide regular reports on recruitment metrics and outcomes.
  • Execute the hiring process annually for the investment internship program.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline incorporating direct outreach, employee referrals and industry-specific channels.
  • Perform other related personnel duties as required.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive recruitment experience.
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other sourcing and recruitment analytics, experience with Ceridian Dayforce a plus.
  • Ability to assess candidates' qualifications and cultural fit/add effectively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in a specific industry or recruiting for specialized roles, Commercial Real Estate a plus.
  • Brand ambassador who represents Stockbridge’s identity and culture within the CRE industry.
  • Knowledgeable on employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Compensation:
The base pay is competitive. Stockbridge’s base pay scale depends on geographic location, business line, years of experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. A discretionary annual bonus is also included in addition to base pay. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and STD & LTD insurance. Stockbridge provides a 401K plan with a match as well as generous vacation, sick time and holiday time off.
