Job Description

Position Summary:
Villanova University seeks applicants for a full-time, continuing, non-tenure track faculty position in Real Estate. The position is housed in the Villanova School of Business (VSB). The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching and service mission of the Villanova Real Estate Program. 

This position is not tenure-eligible but carries the title of Clinical Track Faculty (CNT), which emphasizes teaching, student engagement, and applied professional contributions.  

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate real estate courses (e.g., principles, investments, development, capital markets).
  • Develop and maintain innovative, industry-informed curriculum.
  • Employ best practices in teaching with attention to inclusivity and student success.
  • Advise and mentor students on academic planning, professional development, and career preparation.
  • Engage actively with the real estate industry and alumni network to support Villanova’s mission and student opportunities.
  • Participate in program development, committees, and broader VSB/University service.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Demonstrated record of teaching excellence at the college/university level.
  • Evidence of professional engagement in the real estate field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Significant professional experience in real estate practice, investment, or development.
  • Evidence of leadership in real estate education, mentoring, or program development.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching and service.
