TSB Capital Advisors is seeking an Associate to join our Suburban Philadelphia team. The Associate will have the opportunity to work directly with all team members, including senior leadership, and will play a key role in securing debt financing and equity investments for commercial real estate developers, investors, and owners. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Financial modeling and valuation through the development of pro formas using property financials, macro capital market trends, current market and competitive property trends, and legal due diligence matters.
  • Assist in the production of high-quality marketing materials and offering memorandums for commercial real estate financing and sale opportunities.  
  • Research, analyze, and summarize market and submarket information including inventory, absorption, supply pipeline, rent and vacancy trends.
  • Review and analyze complex commercial real estate legal documents, including but not limited to leases, purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, easement agreements, development agreements, and memorandum of understanding agreements.
  • Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data including location highlights for marketing materials and client presentations.
  • Conduct telephone interviews to gather market data from brokers, appraisers, investors, and other market participants.
  • Develop skills to interact directly with existing clients and source new financing opportunities and marketing the firm through participation in the real estate community.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • The ideal candidate should have:
  • 2-4 years of experience in finance, real estate or another business-related field. 
  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • An interest and basic knowledge of the commercial real estate or capital market’s industries. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proven work ethic and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
