Position:
Leasing Associate
This is an opportunity to join the leading office building agency leasing team in the Chicago CBD. The candidate must be able to embrace a fast-paced and dynamic work environment while bringing a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This is a phenomenal position to elevate your exposure in the Chicago “brokerage community” and learn from the best senior office brokers in the CBD office market.
Responsibilities:
· Drive prospect activity to building assignments and manage dealmaking process through lease execution
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients (landlords), tenants, and the brokerage community.
· Collaborate and support building teams with marketing, market tracking and analytics, and drafting of lease proposals.
· Support decision-making process for clients by providing financial, market and ad hoc analysis as required.
· Participate in team meetings and updates on leasing activity, market information, prospects, market knowledge and trends.
· Assist in managing the office vacancies within portfolio. Conduct and support presentations and customer tours.
Qualifications:
· Ideally, 1-5 years of commercial brokerage experience or other business/sales experience. Would consider ambitious, recent college graduate with strong internship experience.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
· Bachelor’s degree with excellent academic credentials.
· Demonstrate interest in commercial real estate and becoming a broker.
· Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables.
· Financial analysis and market research experience a plus.
· Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word software is required.
· Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners.
· Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload.
· A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment.
