About the Role: 
The Senior Analyst / Associate will play a key role in supporting all real estate–related functions within the Acquisitions team. This position will focus on financial underwriting, market research, and transaction execution related to Peakstone’s growing industrial outdoor storage portfolio.  This role provides hands-on exposure to the full deal lifecycle, from underwriting through closing, and direct interaction with senior leadership. It offers the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to the firm’s ongoing growth while developing expertise in industrial real estate investments. What You Will Do: 
  • Prepare detailed financial models to evaluate acquisition opportunities and portfolio performance. 
  • Support transaction execution, including due diligence, lease review, third-party report review, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Draft investment memoranda, financial analyses, and presentation materials for internal and external audiences. 
  • Conduct research and analysis of demographic, market, sector, tenant, and property data. 
  • Maintain and refine financial model templates, lease and sales comparables, and underwriting assumptions. 
  • Collaborate across acquisitions, asset management, accounting, and capital markets to advance the firm’s investment strategy. 
  • Participate in portfolio analytics, leasing updates, and post-closing asset performance tracking. 
  • Provide analytical support for capital markets activities and special projects as needed. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, developers, property owners, and other key market participants. 

What You Will Bring to the Team: 
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred).
  • Minimum of two years of relevant real estate experience, ideally in acquisitions, asset management, investments, lending, or capital markets.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling), Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with ARGUS Enterprise, Yardi, and CoStar is preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of real estate finance principles, market analysis, and investment evaluation.
  • Familiarity with industrial or logistics real estate is a strong plus.
  • Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative, self-motivated, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.

Competitive Compensation: Anticipated base pay range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000 annualized. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
