Position Summary:
The Senior Asset Manager will provide strategic oversight and hands-on operational management of a diverse real estate portfolio, ensuring optimal performance, value enhancement, and alignment with the firm's investment objectives. This role demands a dynamic, accountable leader with a proven track record in real estate asset management, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while taking full responsibility for outcomes.
- Develop and implement asset management strategies to maximize property value and investment returns.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews to align with market trends, investment goals, and risk management protocols.
- Oversee budgeting processes for properties under management, ensuring fiscal responsibility and strong financial performance.
- Analyze financial statements, manage capital expenditures, and forecast future financial needs.
- Provide all Lender-required Financial reports
- Manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, including budget, timeline, and quality control.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and engineers to ensure projects meet or exceed expectations.
- Act as a liaison between property managers, tenants, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth property operations, prompt resolution of complaints, and high tenant satisfaction.
- Implement best practices in property management to enhance overall asset performance.
- Leverage AI technologies to optimize asset management practices, including predictive maintenance, tenant analytics, market analysis, and operational efficiencies.
- Stay current with technological advancements in real estate and AI to drive continuous improvements in management strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of asset management professionals and support staff.
- Foster a culture of performance excellence, innovation, and accountability.
- Work independently as a self-starter, identifying opportunities for improvement and executing strategic initiatives with full accountability.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Regular travel required to visit properties nationwide, meet with stakeholders, or attend industry events.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CCIM) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years in real estate, with at least 5 years in a senior asset management role.
- Proven experience in managing budgets, overseeing construction projects, and interfacing with property management teams.
- Demonstrated experience with AI applications in real estate, or a strong aptitude for learning and implementing such technologies.
- Strong analytical, financial, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficient in real estate software (e.g., Yardi, Argus), MS Office, financial modeling, and data analysis tools.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a high degree of accountability.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changes.
