 Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are seeking an established professional Senior Financial Analyst who will provide complex analysis to our executive team. This position requires on-site presence at our Calabasas corporate Office- this is not a remote or hybrid position.

Key responsibilities:
Position will conduct market research for acquisition opportunities, including local demographics, business potential, transportation, and land zoning regulation. Analyze the merits and/or risks of particular investment opportunities and prepare reports and business presentations regarding the findings. Conduct financial research regarding real estate supply, demand, pricing and investment parameters. Identify, organize, and prioritize deal issues and exceptions while deal prospecting. Specific areas of focus are development, acquisitions/underwriting, investment management, transactions and strategies under the guidance of ownership.
This position requires strong analytical thinking, financial reporting and excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  
Essential Qualifications:
 
- Bachelor's Degree in finance/accounting is required.
- Master’s degree in real estate development (MRED) is preferred (new graduates of the MRED program are encouraged to apply).
- 2–4 years of financial experience with commercial and multi-family real estate.
- Aptitude for finance and a basic understanding of the overall capital structuring of real estate acquisitions.
- Ability to perform financial analysis including cash flow and cash waterfall modelling, IRR analysis and capital structure analysis.
- Ability to analyze financial statements, pro formas, construction loan documents, legal documents, partnership agreements, real estate and company valuations, and discounted cash flow analyses
- Willingness to work extended hours as required.
- Requires a detail orientated, independent thinker who can be a part of a team and demonstrates knowledge of accounting practices and procedures.
- Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and industry professionals.
- Advance computer knowledge with MS Office-advanced Excel and Argus software.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
The salary range for this position is $50-60/per hr. Compensation will depend on factors such as the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
