Job Description

Zamagias Properties seeks a President to succeed a retiring President who has guided the company for over a decade. This executive will provide overall leadership for the company’s real estate operations, investments, and people, balancing strategic foresight with disciplined execution. The President will be entrusted with sustaining and optimizing the current portfolio while leading efforts to grow and diversify the business in alignment with long-term family goals and continued succession of family leaders in the business.

The incoming President must prioritize the protection of the assets of a family office and the family's values above all else, ensuring that every decision reflects the integrity and continuity of the business’ foundations. They will mentor and train next-generation leaders, fostering a culture of development, trust, and accountability. The President must be prepared to balance independent thought and strategic influence with the execution of goals and priorities defined by family leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
· Develop and execute strategies that align portfolio performance—including acquisitions, repositioning, and new development—with long-term family objectives.
· Assess markets and investment opportunities to ensure sustainable growth and strong financial returns.
· Anticipate and mitigate risks across legal, financial, and operational domains and geographic locations (e.g., Western PA and Lancaster PA).

Business & Operations
· Oversee daily operations and ensure each property meets performance and service expectations.
· Strengthen systems and standard operating processes for consistent, transparent operations, leveraging technology (such as Yardi, Placer.ai, financial modeling) and data analytics.
· Manage financials with discipline—monitor budgets, capital investments, and portfolio metrics to drive profitability and growth.

People & Culture
· Build, coach, and mentor a capable leadership team that reflects the company’s values and ambition.
· Foster a culture of trust, accountability, and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
· Work with family ownership, leadership advisors, and next-generation leaders to ensure continuity of leadership and effective succession planning.

Reporting to the Chairman and CEO.  The role will also work in close collaboration with the EVP of Corporate Development & CFO; VP & General Counsel etc.
