Essential Responsibilities:
• Acquisition: Underwrite potential acquisition and development opportunities to include cash flow modeling, property valuations, investment analyses, and joint venture structuring. Prepare accurate and thorough work product to assist in the investment review process. Assist in the preparation of deal memorandum for investment committee review.
• Asset Management: Support asset management functions, including frequent interaction with investment committee, investors, property management, leasing, and accounting teams. Conduct analyses to support decision making related to the business plan of the investment (leasing, capital projects, financing). Maintain valuations of existing assets to track investment performance.
• Due Diligence: Support transaction due diligence and closing processes for acquisitions, dispositions, re-capitalizations, and financing. Respond to requests from the investment committee, joint venture partners, brokers, lenders, appraisers, buyers, and sellers. Review all due diligence materials and present findings to senior management.
• Market Research: To support new investment opportunities and the existing portfolio, perform thorough research of select markets utilizing various databases and maintain proprietary market reports including property sales and lease comparables.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Real Estate with strong academic performance
• Minimum of one year of applicable experience
• Advanced proficiency in Argus Enterprise and Microsoft Excel
Successful completion of a background screening required
