Role Description: Full time, Flexible start date


Location:
Remote (West Coast Preferable)
Compensation: Base Salary 80-150k (based on experience) with Bonus Structure
Travel: Willing to Travel 4-6 times/ year for Conferences and Investor Meet ups



We are looking for a well-educated, polished and presentable individual who will fit well into a remote team and values speed, execution and quality of work. You are an individual who thrives off building and maintaining relationships, is naturally customer-first, excited about creating and delivering investor presentations, and has analytical skills to assess financial data and oversee investments.

The ideal candidate should be able to “hit the ground running”, the skill set should already be there. This role supports all aspects of the fundraising cycle and investor service, including subscription processing, investor communications and reporting, and client servicing. Providing expedient “white glove service” with a high level of attention to detail is imperative. Must possess exceptional communication skills and a high degree of comfort in building relationships with high-net-worth individuals, while adeptly navigating the unique interpersonal dynamics associated with this demographic.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, MBA, and/or CFA desirable.
  • 5+ years of investor relations experience, dealing with investors and a strong proven track record raising capital - preferably 100 Million dollar + annual raises 
  • 2+ years of financial services/investment experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills
  • Perform in a high-pressure environment, self starter and independent problem solver 
  • Meet tight deadlines and mandatory monthly capital raise metrics
  • A strong understanding of finance, investments, and the economy.
  • Experience working remotely and with start-ups or small organizations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead new investor outreach and serve as the main point of contact for our HNW investors and institutional funding sources during the raise and after onboarding including building systems for document collection and tracking, investor portal data entry  etc.
  • Manage Investor database on CRM and establish and improve SOPs for investor outreach, tracking during capital raise and ongoing investor experience
  • Help drive GW Capital’s presence in online forums and work closely with marketing team to help develop messaging for increased online authority
  • Liaise between the IR Department, Finance Department, third-party fund administrator, custodians, etc. to process new and additional investments and account maintenance documents
  • Organize and collaborate with Asset Management, Marketing, and Legal teams to create webinars for investor education and reporting 
  • Assist in preparing marketing/targeting and investor materials for existing and potential investors, including investor decks and fund offering documents
  • Assist with creation and distribution of ad hoc reports, quarterly investor reporting, Disseminate investor communications and documents via Investor portal and CRMs 
  • Analyse and present funds metrics and deal data and Facilitate the timely execution of capital calls and other fund actions
  • Leverage our strong online and marketing presence, capitalizing on hundreds of untouched "legacy" leads and a steady stream of new leads each week.
  • Manage all Investor Relations Associates
  • Build relationships with our current Operators and bring a roster of High quality Operators aligned with our growth trajectory assisting in Strategic Partnership formation
  • Work closely with the CEO contributing to scaling strategy development and execution.
