Silverstein Properties is a privately held, vertically integrated real estate investment, management and development firm with approximately $20bn in assets under management. 
 
Silverstein is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Equity Investments group. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or higher, and at least 2 years of experience in an institutional real estate role involving in-depth investment analysis and execution. 
 
The Senior Analyst will support the Equity Investments group, which focuses on opportunistic investments across the United States. 

Responsibilties include, but not imited to: 
  • Financial Analysis: Independently prepare financial analyses and projections to assess potential investment opportunities. This includes researching and interpreting market trends, demographics, and competitive landscapes and synthesizing and preparing presentations to clearly communicate findings and investment theses to the firm’s senior leadership.
  • Feasibility Analysis & Due Diligence: Assist in conducting and coordinating investment due diligence, including site selection, zoning analysis, engaging third party consultants, and other due diligence and closing activities. 
  • Asset and Portfolio Management Support: Assist in the tracking and reporting of the performance of existing investments across the Equity Investments business lines and preparing presentations and materials for updates to management and investors as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in institutional real estate role.
  • Strong real estate financial modeling skills using Excel with an ability to analyze complex investment opportunities and capital structures including joint venture waterfalls. Argus proficiency is preferred.
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Powerpoint.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
