Job Description:
The Asset Management team is responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s portfolio of assets. The position will assist with a wide range of asset management matters and will work directly with the regional and local managing directors of development and associated teams.

Job Functions:
  • Act as primary liaison and drive strategic decisions amongst property management and development as well asjoint venture equity partner
  • Provide oversight of lease-ups to ensure property and property management meet timelines and expectationsof development and asset management
  • Assist with disposition process from valuation analysis and broker selection through due diligence and closing
  • Perform detailed review of equity operating agreements and loan documents
  • Benchmark asset performance using various proprietary analytical tools
  • Provide regular financial and operational reporting and analysis of portfolio to internal and external partners
  • Provide clear and timely communication of relevant and important information
  • Conduct regular site visits to evaluate property management, property marketability and market positioning,and physical condition of properties
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of Company information
  • Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: review of underwriting provided bydevelopment and property management, annual business planning, monthly operating deficit forecasts,coordinate/oversee real estate tax appeals and estimates, development programming input and budget review
  • Requires quarterly site visits to each asset, with additional trips scheduled as needed to support projects andteam objectives

Required Qualifications:
  • BA or MBA in real estate, finance, economics or other related degree
  • 5-10+ years of relevant real estate or finance experience, preferably in multifamily asset management,operations, or investments
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn and work both within a team and independently
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Extremely organized with high attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
