Job Description
- Working together with colleagues to execute asset management activities across Cain's holdings, responsible for the timely production of accurate financial modelling and investment analysis while seeking to proactively create value and secure and improve income across the portfolios. Primary responsibilities below will apply to hospitality, residential, and commercial investments.
- This includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following:
- Assist in all aspects of the management of hotel and residential renovations and developments in line with business plans.
- Accurate financial modelling and analysis of real estate investments and approved investment strategies whether development, refurbishment, leasing, operation or sale on a regular basis, with the ability to explain any variances.
- Update and maintain investment models for all historic and future cash flows to track and forecast investment performance, generating key performance indicators.
- Prepare coherent and accurate financial analysis to analyze key investment decisions such as renovation programs, hotel management agreements, hotel performance, major leases, residential sales, refinancing etc. Present financial analysis with coherent and accurate forecasted investment returns to senior management on which key decisions can be made.
- Ensure asset management processes are instigated and executed appropriately and timely. As necessary help to develop and implement relevant procedures in order to improve efficiency, reporting and management.
- Coordinate with existing lenders on all aspects of loan monitoring and financing activities and assist in preparing and sharing necessary reporting.
- Assist with transaction functions such as asset sales and refinancings.
- Ensure timely and comprehensive review and reporting of all property and financial activity.
- Coordinate with project management teams to monitor and report on budget and schedule to ensure the execution is in line with business plan.
