About Us Convergence Housing Group acquires and repositions multifamily assets into workforce and affordable housing using tax-exempt bond financing, nonprofit partnerships, and creative capital stacks. 

The Role Support property sourcing, deal execution, and post-closing asset management across the firm's portfolio. You'll work directly with senior leadership on transactions from origination through closing and oversee property performance after acquisition, working alongside nonprofits, government agencies, and capital partners.

Responsibilities
Acquisitions
  • Support the acquisitions pipeline; source on-market and off-market multifamily opportunities across target markets.
  • Underwrite deals: cash flows, IRR, equity multiples, project returns.
  • Assist in structuring complex capital stacks including tax-exempt bonds, LIHTC, and JV equity.
  • Support negotiation of LOIs, PSAs, term sheets, and partnership agreements through close.
  • Build relationships with brokers, sellers, lenders, investors, agencies, and nonprofit partners.
  • Assist with RFP/RFQ responses and competitive positioning.
Asset Management
  • Oversee properties post-closing — track operating performance against underwriting, manage third-party property managers, and flag issues early.
  • Monitor budgets, capital expenditure timelines, and lease-up progress.
  • Prepare investor reporting and support lender/agency compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with nonprofit and housing authority partners on ongoing obligations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years in acquisitions, investment sales, deal execution, and/or asset management.
  • Strong Excel and multifamily underwriting skills.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of affordable housing programs, tax-exempt bonds, LIHTC, and public-private partnerships.
