They are hiring for a newly created, high impact Director of Real Estate Acquisitions role for a seasoned, deal-driven professional with 7–10 years of experience in multifamily acquisitions and land development. You will lead sourcing, underwriting, negotiations, and closing of opportunities across raw land, multifamily assets, and distressed assets for redevelopment. This role offers broad influence, autonomy, and the opportunity to shape our growing portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Source and originate high-quality opportunities nationwide using deep market intelligence and industry relationships.
  • Lead the full deal lifecycle: sourcing, underwriting, internal approvals, negotiations, due diligence, financing, and closing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, lenders, owners, receivers, and other key partners.
  • Refine investment strategies, analyze markets, and deliver insights that guide executive decisions.
  • Prepare and present investment memos to leadership and the investment committee.
  • Partner across finance, legal, asset management, construction & development to ensure flawless execution and transition post-close.

Qualifications
  • 7–10 years of acquisitions experience with a concentration in multifamily, distressed assets, industrial, and/or land assets.
  • Proven success sourcing, underwriting, negotiating, and closing complex transactions.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation expertise (including IRR, equity multiple, cash on cash, sensitivity/scenario analysis).
  • Deep capital markets knowledge and experience with exchanges and debt financing.
  • A strong industry network and demonstrated ability to generate deal flow.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred.

The target compensation range for this position is $150,000-$175,000 annually with a target, performance based bonus of up to 30%.
