About the Position: 
An Associate Asset Manager in real estate provides crucial administrative and operational support to the asset management team by assisting with data analysis, reporting, and portfolio management. Ultimately this will contribute to the overall performance and success of the real estate portfolio. 

Key responsibilities often include:

Data Management and Reporting:
· Collecting, organizing, and maintaining accurate data related to properties and portfolio performance. 
· Collecting, organizing, and maintaining accurate data related to competitive properties and portfolios in target markets.
· Generating reports and presentations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends. 
· Assisting with budgets. 

Portfolio Management:
· Supporting the asset management team in managing a portfolio of properties. 
· Assisting with property due diligence and transition for new acquisitions or dispositions. 
· Monitoring property performance and identifying areas for improvement. 
· Coordinate with property management teams regarding property inspections and maintenance and repair obligations.
· Participate in the disposition of existing assets.
· Participate in due diligence, construction, and transaction support.

Support:
· Handling tasks, such as coordinating meetings, managing correspondence, and processing paperwork. 
· Assisting with vendor management and contract administration. 
· Supporting the asset management team with various projects and initiatives. 

Communication and Collaboration:
· Communicating with property management teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
· Communicating with tenants within the portfolio.
· Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations. 

Specific Tasks:
· Reviewing and validating brokerage invoices. 
· Assisting with finalizing property management agreements. 
· Gathering and assembling documents for new leasing activity. 
· Overseeing and managing letters of credit (LOCs). 
· Overseeing annual CAM reconciliations and quarterly distributions.
· Prepare ad hoc analysis to DSP’s principals and investors.
· Work with Director of Asset Management to oversee minor constructions improvements on existing portfolio.

Skills and Qualifications:
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
· Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. 
· Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
· Experience in real estate or a related field is a plus. 
· A bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field is required.
