Banking, Lending, & Trust (BL&T) unlocks access to Wells Fargo Bank products and services to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families based on needs related to banking, custom lending, and trust services. These bank specialists leverage resources, valuable research, relationships, custom solutions, and highly tuned strategies to address clients' unique needs and aspirations.
About this role:
In this role, you will:
- Drive the onboarding of sizable specialty assets—including real estate, oil, gas, mineral interests, and closely held businesses—within an assigned territory, contributing to sustained portfolio growth
- Advise high net worth clients on specialty asset investment strategies aligned with their broader wealth and fiduciary objectives
- Partner strategically with Wealth and Investment Management leaders, fiduciary strategists, portfolio managers, relationship managers, and financial advisors to deliver best‑in‑class client solutions
- Educate internal stakeholders on the Specialty Asset Management value proposition and capabilities to expand market penetration
- Lead real estate acquisition efforts on behalf of wealth management clients, from evaluation through execution
- Manage and resolve highly complex specialty asset portfolios, balancing risk, return, and client‑specific objectives
- Deliver in‑depth portfolio analytics to ensure proper diversification, risk management, and long‑term investment performance
- 7+ years of Fiduciary Specialty Asset Products experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Demonstrated experience advising high net worth clients on investment real estate
- Experience optimizing performance across specialty assets, including real estate, oil, gas, mineral interests, and closely held businesses
- Proven ability to lead the end‑to‑end property acquisition process
- Demonstrated business development experience within private client wealth management
- Track record of managing complex client portfolios and making strategic investment decisions aligned with overall wealth plans
- Strong analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in MS Excel and ARGUS software
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities and/or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
