Vice President, Corporate Finance

Location: West Palm Beach, Florida

Reports To: Principal, Global Head of Finance & Portfolio Management


Position Summary

HighBrook is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Finance to support the firm’s management

company finance function and broader corporate initiatives. This role will be responsible for core

accounting, financial management, and tax coordination activities, with a particular focus on

management company operations and partner-level matters.


The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in management company accounting, preferably

within a real estate private equity or alternative asset management environment, and will be

comfortable operating in a hands-on, high-responsibility role with direct interaction with senior

leadership and external advisors.


Core Responsibilities

Management Company Finance & Accounting

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the management company, GP and related entities
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and internal reporting packages
  • Consolidate management company entities for reporting to the firm’s institutional minority partner
  • Coordinate with auditors on annual financial statement audits
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls and financial processes
  • Manage liquidity and payments


Tax & Structuring (Corporate and Partner-Level)

  • Serve as the primary internal lead on corporate and partner tax matters, working closely with external tax advisors
  • Coordinate preparation and review of management company tax filings and partner allocations
  • Support tax structuring considerations across funds, co-invest vehicles, and GP entities
  • Manage partner-related tax inquiries and reporting (e.g., K-1 coordination, withholding, etc.)
  • Monitor evolving tax regulations and ensure compliance across jurisdictions


Strategic & Corporate Finance Initiatives

  • Partner closely with FP&A on firm-level budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
  • Support broader corporate finance initiatives, including new product launches and platform growth
  • Provide financial analysis and decision support to senior leadership


Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with the Principal / Global Head of Finance and Portfolio Management
  • Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and other service providers
  • Collaborate with investment, asset management, investor relations, and FP&A teams as needed


Qualifications & Experience

  • 7–12+ years of relevant experience in corporate finance, accounting, or tax
  • Strong background in management company accounting, preferably within Real estate private equity or Private equity / alternative asset management
  • Experience working with complex partnership structures and multi-entity environments
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating with external tax advisors on partner and corporate tax matters
  • CPA or equivalent strongly preferred


Skillset

  • Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise
  • Experience with entity consolidation and investor reporting
  • Solid understanding of partnership taxation and fund/management company structures
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and execution skills
  • Ability to operate independently and take ownership of key workstreams
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interface with senior stakeholders
