Financial Planning & Analysis Associate

Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Reports To: Principal, Global Head of Finance & Portfolio Management


Position Summary

HighBrook is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Planning & Analysis Associate to join our finance team in West Palm Beach. This role will be responsible for supporting the firm’s corporate financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across management company entities and operating companies. The FP&A Associate will play a key role in building and maintaining integrated financial models, supporting strategic decision-making, and helping management monitor profitability, liquidity, and operational performance across the platform. This role will also serve as a shared resource with the CEO, supporting strategic initiatives, executive-level analysis, and ad hoc planning priorities. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who wants broad exposure to both corporate and operating company finance in a fast-paced real estate private equity environment.


Core Responsibilities

Corporate Modeling & Forecasting

  • Build, maintain, and enhance integrated financial models for HighBrook’s management company and operating company entities
  • Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across all corporate entities
  • Develop scenario analyses to evaluate growth initiatives, hiring plans, and cost structure changes
  • Model management company economics, including fee revenue, compensation, overhead, and margin analysis


Performance Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial performance reports for senior management
  • Analyze budget-to-actual variances and provide clear, actionable commentary
  • Track key operating and financial KPIs across the management company and operating platforms
  • Support development of dashboards and reporting packages for executive review
  • Prepare quarterly carried interest statements to participants


Strategic Finance Support

  • Assist in evaluating new business initiatives, including operating company expansion and platform investments
  • Support liquidity planning and cash forecasting across legal entities
  • Partner with the CFO and finance leadership on ad hoc analyses, board materials, and strategic planning projects
  • Support the CEO directly on strategic planning, business analysis, and special projects as a shared finance resource
  • Help improve financial processes, reporting consistency, and forecasting accuracy


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Corporate Accounting, Fund Finance, Portfolio Management, and Operating Company teams to gather data and align assumptions
  • Coordinate with external advisors, as needed, on tax, audit, and financial reporting matters
  • Ensure financial planning outputs are consistent with corporate and regulatory reporting requirements


Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or transaction advisory
  • Strong financial modeling skills (Excel required; ability to build three-statement and entity-level models)
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize financial information clearly
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working with senior stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field


Preferred

  • Experience in real estate, private equity, asset management, or financial services
  • Familiarity with management company and operating company structures
  • Exposure to FP&A tools is a plus
