Core Responsibilities
- End-to-End Operations: Lead full-cycle accounting operations, including rent processing, payables, and high-level financial reporting.
- NNN Focus: Serve as the point person on Triple-Net (NNN) charges, ensuring precise "true-ups" and lease compliance.
- Financial Accuracy: Validate and audit monthly financial packages and bank reconciliations to ensure portfolio-wide accuracy.
- Process Optimization: Optimize accounting software and workflows to produce sophisticated, "Investment-Ready" financial reports.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate "money leaks" through regular health checks of current operational processes.
- Relationship Management: Manage tenant financial relations, leading complex conversations regarding escalations or reconciliation disputes.
- Strategic Collaboration: Leading a team to align accounting workflows with long-term business and investment goals, providing strategic insights on Net Operating Income (NOI).
What You Bring (Must-Haves)
- Experience: 1+ years of full-cycle Retail Property Management accounting experience.
- NNN Expertise: Solid hands-on experience with Triple-Net reconciliations.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience with MRI, property accounting platform.
- Mindset: Growth-oriented, motivated by professional advancement, and possesses strong leadership potential.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to translate complex numbers into data-driven solutions to empower owners.
Bonus Points for:
- Experience with DoorLoop or Yardi.
- Texas Real Estate License.
