SUMMARY

We are seeking a Fund Management & Analytics Analyst that will work on the firm’s retail funds and will be based at its corporate headquarters in West Palm Beach, FL. This position will focus on the forecasting, analysis, and operational strategy of Sterling’s commercial retail real estate assets throughout the United States as well as its private equity fund investments. The Fund Management & Analytics Analyst will work with employees in all departments within the firm (Investments, Leasing, Investor Relations, Asset Management, Capital Markets, etc.) and will have the benefit of exposure to Sterling’s vertically integrated platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist all departments with the strategic oversight of investment management activities related to Sterling’s investment portfolio
2. Maintain current ARGUS and cash flow models and prepare cash flow forecasts with IRR and equity multiple sensitivities for existing assets that facilitate fund and property level decisions and help maximize the performance of Sterling’s investments
3. Work closely with key company personnel in financing, leasing, and redevelopment projects
4. Assist in the preparation of projections, analytics, and presentations for the company’s annual fund investor meetings and quarterly reports as well as internal quarterly asset management strategy meetings
5. Provide support to the Investor Relations team for due diligence questionnaires and data requests
6. Develop an in-depth understanding of retail investments (leases, property fundamentals, operations, etc.)
7. Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects (redevelopment forecasting, hold/sale analysis, analysis of lease economics, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

1. College graduate with strong record of academic achievement and knowledge of commercial real estate (0-5 years of work experience)
2. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word and experienced with other standard business software (ARGUS knowledge is preferred but not required)
3. Highly organized with exceptional written and oral communication skills and should be able to take on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
4. Candidate should be familiar with using AI, including Microsoft Copilot and Claude

COMPENSATION
