Job Description

Tribeca Investment Group (“TIG”) is a NYC focused investor and developer that invests across asset types and the capital stack with our institutional partners.

TIG is seeking a motivated Acquisitions Associate to join our flat and collaborative organization. The position will play a critical role in helping the firm identify, evaluate, negotiate, and invest in office, residential, hospitality, and mixed-use properties.

The candidate will be a key member of the team, will have a hands-on role in analysis and business plan conception, and will gain exposure to all aspects of the real estate investing and asset management process


DUTIES INCLUDE

Financial modeling and underwriting for acquisitions and dispositions

Assist in efforts to source new acquisitions by building and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders, including owners, brokers, developers, and potential joint venture partners

Support the negotiation of purchase and sale agreements and manage third-party legal for transaction work

Oversee the due diligence and closing processes for prospective transactions

Lead preparation and presentation of investment memorandums in relation to proposed transactions

Assist in raising capital, both debt and equity, from institutional lenders and LP equity partners

Participate in asset management including interfacing with lenders and equity partners, assisting in financial projections, reporting, monitoring investments, analyzing financial transactions (sales, leases, recapitalizations, etc.)


REQUIREMENTS

2-5 years of experience in real estate investments, asset management, or capital markets

Extremely high proficiency in excel modeling and Argus modeling

Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to exercise independent judgment

Experience underwriting across asset classes (including office, residential, hotel and retail)

Ability to participate in and implement processes and best practices for underwriting and diligence

Acute attention to detail and passion for quality and excellence

Desire to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment


Compensation Range: $120,000 - $160,000
