Position Summary:
The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive leasing activity, strengthen tenant and broker engagement, enhance portfolio visibility, and support revenue growth across Lake Washington Partners’ industrial, multifamily, and office real estate assets. This role combines brand strategy, market intelligence, customer insights, and data-driven decision making to position assets competitively, create effective campaigns, and connect marketing initiatives to business, investment, and operational objectives. Working closely with leasing, operations, development, asset management, and executive leadership, the Senior Marketing Manager helps shape the customer experience, strengthen stakeholder communication, and ensure marketing priorities are aligned with company goals.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategy, Planning & Performance
· Develop and execute marketing strategies that support leasing activity, tenant retention, broker engagement, revenue growth, and consistent portfolio positioning across channels
· Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive activity, target audiences, and growth opportunities, translating insights into actionable recommendations
· Create, oversee, and measure marketing campaigns with clear objectives, performance metrics, and reporting that inform future strategy and leadership updates
· Partner with development, asset management, leasing, operations, and executive leadership to align marketing priorities with business, investment, and operational objectives
· Own CRM strategy and execution to support broker relationships, tenant engagement, campaign tracking, and portfolio-level insights
· Develop and maintain an annual marketing roadmap, quarterly plans, campaign calendars, and intake processes that support timely delivery, consistent quality, and clear decision-making
Partnerships, PR, Cross-Functional Leadership
· Manage strategic external partnerships, including PR, design, digital, brokerage-related, and industry resources, by setting expectations, managing budgets, and ensuring high-quality delivery
· Oversee broker, tenant, and stakeholder communication strategies that strengthen engagement, retention, market relationships, and portfolio visibility
· Guide PR agency priorities, thought leadership opportunities, award nominations, and industry visibility efforts in alignment with company goals
· Provide leadership with market insights, stakeholder updates, strategic recommendations, and supporting rationale to inform decisions and strengthen alignment
· Lead and develop marketing team members, fostering a collaborative, accountable, high-performing team focused on quality and business impact
Content, Brand and Digital Channels
· Drive content, brand, and digital channel strategy to strengthen LKWP’s market presence, asset positioning, tenant and broker engagement, and portfolio story
· Manage internal team members and external consultants to deliver collateral, presentations, campaigns, digital assets, and channel content that support business priorities
· Oversee LKWP brand standards, messaging, visual consistency, and audience-specific communication across print, web, social, video, presentation, and digital platforms
· Guide content calendars, campaign priorities, and channel plans to ensure marketing work is coordinated, measurable, and aligned with stakeholder needs
· Perform other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position provides formal supervision of individual employees within the functional or operational area. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; mentoring and coaching employees to further develop competencies and enhance overall team performance; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with company’s values.
Job Skills & Abilities:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate strategy, insights, and decisions for different audiences
· Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills with attention to detail, prioritization, and follow-through
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
· Ability to analyze market, customer, campaign, and channel data and convert insights into practical recommendations
· Strong business acumen with the ability to connect marketing work to leasing, retention, portfolio visibility, revenue, and enterprise priorities
· Ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively with leasing, operations, development, asset management, leadership, and external partners
· Professional judgment, discretion, and the ability to build positive working relationships and influence without authority across teams
· Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution, team leadership, and clear accountability for outcomes
Education &/or Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, real estate, or a related field and at least 5 years of progressive marketing experience
· Experience developing marketing strategies, campaigns, and performance reporting that support business objectives, revenue growth, or customer engagement
· Experience in commercial real estate, asset or property marketing, leasing support, broker engagement, or tenant communications
· Experience with traditional and digital marketing functions, content marketing, social media marketing, branding, CRM, and audience-specific communications
· Experience using market research, campaign metrics, customer insights, or CRM data to inform marketing plans and leadership recommendations
· Experience managing people or project teams, providing leadership, guidance, coaching, and accountability to achieve team goals and business outcomes
· Excellent communication, project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with CRM, digital analytics, email marketing, or marketing automation tools preferred
Salary Range: $135,000 – 165,000, depending on experience.
Bonus: Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
