Analyst/Senior Analyst

Onyx Equities is seeking an Analyst/Senior Analyst to join its highly competitive investments team. The Analyst/Senior Analyst will work directly with senior professionals across the acquisitions and capital markets disciplines and gain exposure to all major commercial real estate asset classes throughout the region.

Daily activities will include supporting the investments team by underwriting prospective acquisitions, preparing investment committee packages, assisting in the due diligence process, developing presentation materials, and completing other ad hoc analysis.

Successful Applicants should be a highly motivated with a demonstrated passion for real estate, private equity, and finance. Applicants should also possess the following qualifications:

· Undergraduate degree from top tier institution

· 0-3 years of real estate, private equity, or investment banking experience

· Ability to build and maintain detailed financial models in Excel

· Experience with Argus Enterprise strongly preferred

· Passion for business and entrepreneurship

· Strong writing skills and research abilities

· Proven leadership skills

· Self-starter attitude

Incoming employee will work out of our office located in Gateway I, in Newark NJ (connected to Newark Penn Station). The office is easily accessible from all areas of NJ and can be reached from Manhattan in ±20 minutes via public transportation.
