Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized Commercial Real Estate Analyst to support our Raleigh office. You will work closely with Producers to underwrite properties, build loan packages, support lender relationships, and drive deals toward closing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys financial analysis, market research, and client-facing coordination in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze property financials, rent rolls, and operating history to evaluate asset performance and value
2. Use proprietary financial models in Excel to size loan requests across a variety of property types, including retail, industrial, office, hotel, multifamily, and self-storage
3. Support the underwriting process with market-backed data and comparables, balancing borrower and lender perspectives to arrive at well-supported conclusions
4. Prepare presentations and materials for lender meetings, industry conferences, and client travel, including market overviews and deal summaries
5. Conduct research on prospective clients and market activity to support business development efforts
6. Assemble comprehensive loan packages for deals going to market, incorporating property details, market and location analysis, sponsorship overviews, underwriting summaries, comparable sales and rental data, and demographic research
7. Prepare quote comparisons and other analyses to support lender negotiations
8. Communicate with lenders and clients to gather due diligence materials and keep transactions moving toward closing
9. Coordinate meetings and calls among borrowers, lenders, and internal team members throughout the deal process

Qualifications

1. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
2. Comfort using tools like CoStar and other online market data sources to conduct research (training provided on internal platforms)
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
4. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deals/deadlines simultaneously
5. Comfortable working in-person 5 days a week
6. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Real Estate, Business, Economics, or related field preferred
7. 1-3 years of relevant experience

Compensation

Competitive based on industry and experience level. Base Salary plus bonus eligibility and includes a competitive benefits package.

Timing

As soon as possible, but we'd like to fill the role before 12/31/26.
