We are seeking an Asset Management Analyst to join our team in New York. This is a hands-on role with broad exposure across the retail real estate investment business, from property operations and leasing to capital planning, financing, dispositions, and investor reporting.

This role is designed for an analytical, detail-oriented professional who wants to learn asset management from the ground up, with a clear path to greater responsibility, including ownership of select assets, as the platform grows.

The Analyst will support the Investment Associate and senior leadership across the underwriting, due diligence, and execution of retail real estate investments, as well as a range of ad hoc projects across the platform. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, intellectually curious professional who is eager to learn, takes full ownership of their work, and wants to build institutional-quality skills on a nimble, fast-moving platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the underwriting of acquisition opportunities by building and maintaining Argus Enterprise and Excel-based models, including cash flow projections, DCF, IRR/equity multiple analysis, and sensitivity and scenario analysis, under the direction of the Investment Associate
  • Support due diligence workstreams across tenant credit, lease abstraction, market research, property-level financial review, and third-party reports, including tracking open items and organizing diligence materials
  • Prepare exhibits, analyses, and draft sections for investment memoranda and internal committee presentations
  • Maintain databases of comparable sales, leasing activity, and market data to inform underwriting assumptions
  • Assist with closing logistics, including document tracking and checklist management across legal, financing, and operational workstreams
  • Support senior leadership on ad hoc projects, including investor reporting, capital raising materials, market research, and strategic initiatives across the platform

Qualifications

Required

  • 1–3 years of experience in real estate, private equity, investment banking, brokerage, or a related field, with exposure to commercial real estate transactions
  • Proficiency in Argus Enterprise strongly preferred
  • Strong Excel financial modeling skills; exposure to real estate underwriting models and PE waterfall structures is a plus
  • Retail or shopping center experience is a plus; a strong interest in the sector is essential
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, polished work product under tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple priorities, ask the right questions, and take initiative
  • Acts in accordance with the values of the company and complies with all company processes and procedures
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field
