Analyst

CommonWealth Partners is seeking an analyst to support its asset management, investment transactions, and portfolio management groups. The analyst will provide analytical support for existing portfolio assets, as well as assist on acquisitions and dispositions. The analyst should have strong analytic and quantitative abilities, as well as polished written and verbal communication skills. The analyst should exhibit a strong desire to grow and learn the real estate investment business and an ability to work both independently and as a member of a team. The analyst will receive a wide range of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, and update cash flow/financial models using Excel and Argus

• Perform various portfolio and property level analyses of existing national portfolio, including hold/sell analyses for current assets

• Assist in all aspects of property level acquisitions and dispositions and related due diligence efforts

• Conduct market research of target investment markets and project market trends based on supply/demand models and macro/micro economic forecasting

• Prepare quarterly reports, strategic plans and annual investment plans

Skills, Experience and Education:

• Undergraduate degree with an emphasis in real estate, finance, economics or accounting.

• 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience (commercial real estate experience preferred)

• High degree of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Argus experience strongly preferred

• Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial work environment
