Job Description
This position is responsible for managing real estate initiatives working closely with senior business leaders and real estate partners to support growth and cost initiatives for real estate through new site acquisitions, expansions, and relocations. Position can be located in DC metro area or Denver, CO.
- Coordinate the new site search process
- Manage the lease negotiation process from initial letter of intents to a final lease documents. Understand standard lease language and obtain required terms.
- Negotiate new leases, amendments and renewals
- Maintain strong relationships and partnerships with company's outside real estate partners, landlords, and vendors
- Proven ability to build consensus, establish trust, and communicate effectively
- Exceptional project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects meeting aggressive deadlines. Ability to fast-track projects
- Demonstrated success achieving challenging business goals, assuming leadership role and delivering effective solutions to business problems in a corporate setting
- Possess strong computer software application skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project, and lease administration programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ensures leases are negotiated on a timely basis
- Demonstrates strong project management skills
- Recommends appropriate actions to executive management of business units and executes on plans.
- Bachelors Degree required
- Minimum of 5 years experience in corporate real estate portfolio management, transaction management, real estate financial analysis, and start-up management.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal skills
- Operations, implementation, or systems knowledge helpful
- Strong knowledge of all faucets of corporate real estate management
- Working knowledge of architectural planning and the construction process
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally, verbally and in writing, to all levels of management both within the organization and without
- Must be self managed
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills required
- Ability to work as a team member
