Company Overview

Eagle Rock is a private equity real estate firm that focuses on value-add, garden-style multifamily assets located in the greater NYC region.  Eagle Rock is a vertically integrated company that owns and manages just over $1 billion of assets. The company is in expansion mode as it is actively deploying capital that was raised in its second multifamily fund.  The acquisitions, asset management and fund raising functions of the business are handled by Eagle Rock Advisors, which is headquartered in Manhattan, while its management headquarters are based on Long Island.

Position Overview

The VP of Asset Management will report directly to the principals of the firm.  The role will oversee the asset management team, assume responsibility for the financial performance of the portfolio, implement the business plan, and contribute to the growth of the organization.  Specific responsibilities include:

• Liaison between fund advisory team and management company

• Utilize financial data to identify operational issues & implement changes

• In-depth knowledge of all assets: operations, financial, cap ex, loans, key individuals & markets

• Calculating distributions & project annual cash flow

• Overseeing the annual budget process

• Knowledge of all capital expenditures; budget, timeline and as-needed project management

• In conjunction with Director of Operations, oversee Regional Property Managers

• Oversee real estate tax appeal process

• Oversee revenue management (LRO) process and implementation

• Create business plan for new acquisitions and handle transition between Acquisitions and Property Management

• Visits sites regularly
