Cantor Commercial Real Estate (CCRE) Analyst – Washington D.C.

Job Description

Cantor Commercial Real Estate (CCRE) is seeking an analyst for its Washington D.C. office. The analyst will have the opportunity to work with a leading commercial real estate finance company and support its origination team in all aspects of the debt origination and closing process.

Responsibilities

• Supports team in evaluating, originating, underwriting, structuring and closing transactions
• Develops financial modeling and analysis
• Completes property site visits and inspections
• Conducts financial analysis of leases, acquisitions, and cost structures
• Manages or assists with special projects as needed
• Strong interest in commercial real estate and basic understanding of the industry

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; concentration in Finance or Real Estate preferred
• 1-2 years of work experience, including internship experience, within the commercial real estate industry
• Strong interest in commercial real estate and basic understanding of the industry
• Excellent analytical skills as well as oral and written communication skills
• Advanced MS Office skills required with a high level of proficiency in Excel
• Argus experience preferred
• “Team player” mentality; ability to maintain open communication with originators and management
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to manage own time and demonstrate flexibility in work schedule
