Job Description

Perform various analyses including property level, market and Borrower credit in order to assist underwriters in the preparation of prescreen packages and loan narratives for presentation to prescreen committee and/or loan committee. Other related tasks include coordination of due diligence materials for underwriting and delivery purposes. Oversight required with minimal knowledge of Fannie Mae requirements.

CBRE Multifamily Capital Inc. - Multifamily Analyst requires 0 - 3 years multi-family underwriting experience to work within the Fannie Mae DUS group. Primary responsibilities include:

* Process incoming exhibits and other documentation required for loan approval.

* Assist with the review of field underwriting submissions in preparation for loan committee and final delivery of investor packages.

* Assist in the preparation of investment memos for presentation to loan committee.

* Perform property and market level due diligence.

* Other related tasks include credit, market and real estate analysis.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required. Prior related experience preferred but not required.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.

Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

Proficient in common Adobe and Microsoft applications including: Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Will be required to travel as needed.

Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Candidates must possess a strong work ethic, excellent written communication and analytical skills, must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to work effectively with other team members and Production personnel in a fast paced environment. Travel required. Must be proficient in MS-Excel, Word and Office. The ideal candidate will have a BS in finance, accounting, economics, real estate or other related subject.
