Goldman Sachs & Co, located in Dallas, TX seeks an Analyst within RMD US Real Estate to support the Goldman Sachs Asset Management Division Private Real Estate (“GSAM PRE”) team that invests directly in individual properties and portfolios within the office, industrial, multifamily, and retail property types throughout the US that are in the core, core-plus, and value-add risk profiles.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS


Responsibilities:

  • Support asset manager in analysis of existing portfolio of assets which includes business plan preparation, developing monthly cash flow projections, monthly and/or quarterly reporting, oversight of third party service providers, capital plan oversight, business plan execution, and ultimate disposition of real estate assets
  • Evaluate lease and other investment opportunities by preparing discounted cash flow models and other financial analyses using ARGUS and Excel
  • Assist in the development and presentation of real estate and other investment summaries for recommendations to senior management for approval
  • Collect and evaluate asset and portfolio level financial information
  • Assist with disposition efforts of real estate assets including transaction management and closing support
  • Work with operating partners, third party service providers, property management companies
  • Conduct in depth market and portfolio analyses; understand industry trends

 Qualifications:

  • Strong academic background - finance, real estate, accounting or math background preferred
  • Minimum one year of real estate experience with asset management and transaction experience in commercial real estate product types preferred
  • Solid modeling skills, analytical / logical mindset and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (clear, concise, and confident) with the ability to manage internal and external relationships
  • Must have MS Office Excel experience to an advanced level
  • Use or understanding of Argus
  • Must have PowerPoint experience
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team setting
