Multifamily Asset Manager

CIG has an extraordinary record of success and a reputation for collaboration, partnership, and a history of finding opportunities.  As a key member of the Real Estate team, the Asset Manager will report to the Sr. Manager of Multi-Family Operations and assume a strategic role in the overall performance of the division.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Primary responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of multifamily assets
• Approving and executing on property budgets
• Oversight of third party property managers
• Reviews and approves property financial and property reporting, ensuring budgets are met.
• Manage capital expenditures to ensure successful completion on time and on budget
• Monitor specific performance measures on a weekly and monthly basis to identify trends and opportunities and provide regular updates to senior management. 
• Prepares and delivers timely, accurate and complete reports.
• Be a key thought leader in evaluating real estate opportunities through the investment acquisition process. 
• Supports all property sales and acquisitions by participating in the due diligence process.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB   REQUIREMENTS                                                                                                            

• Masters’ degree is preferred
• 5-10 years of relevant multifamily asset management experience.
• Strong technical skills
• Argus experience is a plus
• Prior real estate development experience is a plus
