Position Overview
Freddie Mac's Finance Division is seeking a Financial Controller Senior to be part of the Investments and Capital Markets CFO department. The Investments and Capital Markets CFO department is responsible for financial accounting and reporting, portfolio risk and profitability analysis, pricing and valuation activities, and financial planning & analysis for Freddie Mac's Capital Markets segment. The hired individual will join the Investment & Capital Market (I&CM) Financial Analysis and Reporting team.
Responsibilities Include:
*Prepare, analyze and explain ICM Segment results on a periodic basis
*Conduct asset level P&L analysis, analyze impact of key drivers on the financial results and explain variances.
*Prepare and support disclosures for external reporting e.g. 10K/10Q & FHFA.
*Prepare Management and Board reporting related to financial and business results.
*Help manage risks, controls, Internal Audits and other ad hoc requests.
*Contribute to analyzing the impacts of new initiatives and transactions on I&CM Finance's processes and accounting results.

Qualifications
*Bachelor s degree required. Concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related degree
*At least 5 years of financial analysis, accounting or reporting work experience
*Knowledge of GAAP financial accounting and reporting concepts
*Strong financial aptitude and robust analytical skills
*Proficiency in MS Office products including Excel, Access and PowerPoint
*Superior oral and written communications skills
