Job Summary

Merido is seeking a senior real estate professional who is excited about the intersection of real estate and blockchain. The individual will help drive the real estate go-to-market strategy of Meridio and have end-to-end responsibility in originating assets and sourcing investors to scale the platform. As a leader within Meridio, the individual will play a critical role in driving platform adoption, new business/revenue, and providing strategic leadership. The individual will also be involved in the day-to-day operations, including building/reviewing financial models, reviewing legal documents, leading meetings, and ongoing project management.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Market, source and generate new relationships and real estate assets from CRE funds, institutions, and brokers to be tokenized on Meridio

  • Lead and quarterback deal execution; screen new transactions, prepare, issue, negotiate and execute term sheets, collect/review due diligence

  • Perform and review comprehensive real estate valuations, create financial cash flows, valuation and return analysis models

  • Represent Meridio through education sessions, strategic discussions, and conference panels; lead and attend meetings with clients to educate them on blockchain and Meridio  

  • Develop strategy and execution plans to scale the platform

  • Manage existing pipeline of assets, providing ongoing client support

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 7+ years of commercial real estate banking, acquisitions, originations, investing, REITs, and/or portfolio management experience

  • Strong relationships at major CRE institutions

  • Prior experience driving user and revenue growth, scaling platforms/teams a plus

  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who can thrive in a dynamic environment

  • Proven leadership ability to develop strategic visions and execute on them in day-to-day operations

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Blockchain knowledge/experience a plus but not necessary, however candidate should be interested/willing to learn
