Job Description

Key responsibilities of the Analyst will be:
 
Investment Monitoring: Gain exposure across a range of sectors, risk profiles, and structures (funds, joint ventures, secondaries, co-investments).
  • Specific responsibilities include:
    • Review of quarterly reports
    • Participation in meetings, conferences, and tours
    • Preparation of financial analysis for our quarterly fund forecasts and buy / hold / sell recommendations
    • Co-ordinate research related to investments
 
Transaction Management: As a member of the transaction team, provide support to the transaction manager and associates throughout the transaction process.
  • Specific responsibilities include:
    • Financial modeling in Argus DCF, Argus Enterprise, and Excel
    • Preparation of Investment Committee Recommendations
    • Review of consultant reports, legal documents, and historical financials
 
Client Portfolio Management: Support Portfolio Managers in managing a range of client portfolios.
  • Specific responsibilities include:
    • Strategy setting and semi-annual Client Investment Plans;
    • Attend and assist in the preparation of presentations for clients.
    • Assist with preparing quarterly reports for clients and the CBRE GIP Investment Committee;
 
The role is at entry level but offers opportunities to grow within the team and wider organization, especially in investment underwriting, transactions, asset management or investment analytics.

CBRE Global Investment Partners is looking for an enthusiastic candidate with the following profile:
  • Bachelors degree with a concentration in accounting /finance / investments / real estate
  • Between 1-3 years' experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience with Argus preferred
  • Understanding of accounting principles and performance calculations
  • Progress toward or willingness to obtain certification CFA designation preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and well-developed critical aptitude
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • Team player
