Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related major, finance degree a plus
- At least 2 to 4 years relevant Finance experience, ideally in the real estate industry
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, and ideally with Argus
- Familiarity with CoStar
- Ability to quickly learn Brookfield analytic and reporting systems
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem solving ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional development
- Ability to handle large volume of work; good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Scope of Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis, market analysis, and preparation of presentations for management review
- Prepare cash flow projections and discounted cash flow and valuation analysis of existing properties
- Prepare annual budgets and cash flow projections for corporate business plan
- Prepare Monthly Leasing Book , which includes monthly updates of leasing activity, updating stacking plans, expiration schedules and debt summaries
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly reports for Board and Investor presentations
- Research credit strength of existing and potential clients
- Maintain database of lease and sales comps
- Perform analysis of proposed leasing transactions in support of leasing team and for deal approvals
- Assist in compiling market data and preparing quarterly market reports
- Plan and assist with the due diligence process for acquisitions
- Coordinate with asset management, lease administration, corporate services, marketing, and investor relations and provide them with necessary information so they can perform their business functions
