RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for solution architecting data and operating platform(s)
• Determines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts technical reviews, establishes coding practices, and recommends design patterns to the developers
• Communicates the strategy using multiple architectural models
• Contributes by writing code in an agile team setup towards proof of concepts
• Defines approach to strategy achievement for the product/platform development

QUALIFICATIONS:

SKILLS:

• Extensive experience in architecting products and/or platforms
• Hands-on experience using one or many programming languages like Java, Go Lang, Python, C++, C#, or Javascript
• Working experience with web technologies
• Strong expertise in design, development, and maintenance of distributed applications & systems
• Working experience in using DevOps tools like Jenkins
• Exposure to container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos/Marathon
• Expertise in developing native applications on the cloud

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Established leadership experience in organizations comparable to CBRE
• Proven ability to effect organizational change
• Possesses expertise across multiple architecture domains, forward- thinking, and well-versed in emerging technologies and trends
• Have a strong, pragmatic approach to leading architecture and development solutions, with a proven record in technology planning and delivery
• Experience of managing product delivery is desirable
• Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization
• 10 + years of broad experience in the information technology to include information architecture, strategy, & security
• At least 5 years in an architectural or design capacity for creating scalable and distributed applications
• Must possess strong organizational, facilitation and critical thinking abilities, to assess complex problems, analyze options, navigate diverse perspectives and objectives and develop acceptable application solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area. Technical certifications (e.g. AWS) desirable or equivalent work experience
